In 1974, Ken Boothe topped the UK Singles Chart with the track Everything I Own. In 1987 Boy George repeated this success with his cover version - not only in England but in several countries! Lloyd Charmers produced the original, cementing his reputation for staging reggae tracks in a way that appeals to crossover audiences.
Now the accompanying album will be re-released on Trojan.
This reggae classic comes as a 2CD edition, which includes the original album and a full bonus album with alternative mixes by Lloyd Charmers. A native of Jamaica, Ken Boothe has worked with numerous artists throughout his career. Bunny Lee, King Jammy and last but not least Shaggy were among his musical partners.
