Description
Sheffield's Richard Hawley opens his jukebox again: 28 more 45s he's collected over a lifetime, now on a gatefold double LP from Ace Records (XXQLP2 161).
Expect raw instrumentals, twang, garage and rock'n'roll killers: Link Wray's "Comanche," Duane Eddy's "Trash," Dick Dale's "Jungle Fever," Bo Diddley's "Mumblin' Guitar," Gene Vincent, The Ventures' "Fuzzy and Wild," Chet Atkins' "Boo Boo Stick Beat," Frank Minion's "Watermelon" and Johnny Todd's "Pink Cadillac."
Hawley himself comments on every track in the extensive liner notes "a lifetime obsession," as he puts it. Includes printed inner sleeves.
Perfect for collectors of rockin' instrumentals, surf and 60s garage – order at Copasetic Mailorder.
