Description
Amyl and The Sniffers take an unexpected turn on Truth Or Consequence, a live album that swaps their familiar rock-show attack for stripped-back, country-inspired arrangements.
Recorded with friends at El Coyote Mexican Restaurant in Los Angeles, the session reimagines fan favourites alongside two previously unreleased songs and a cover of Slim Dusty’s “Lights on the Hill”. The intimate setting brings a loose, playful atmosphere to the performances, putting the band’s songwriting in a different light without sanding away its personality.
Rather than a conventional concert document, this is a chance to hear familiar material reshaped through fresh arrangements and spontaneous chemistry. For longtime followers and listeners curious about the songs beneath the noise, it offers a compelling change of perspective.
Released by Rough Trade in September 2026, this vinyl LP edition carries catalogue number RT0618LP. Pull up a chair and hear another side of Amyl and The Sniffers.
