Description
A vinyl release of great tunes from the UK's late '70s and early '80s mod-revival scene that also brought us bands s.a. The Secret Affair, Purple Hearts, Lambrettas, Chords and The Jam. Though Squire released some truly cool LP's, the band were originally -and mainly- focused on releasing singles s.a. 'Get Ready To Go', 'Walking To The Kings Road', 'The Face Of Youth Today' and 'My Mind Goes Round In Circles'. This compilation of 45s was originally released in 1984 on Hi Lo Records. It includes sides from the earliest Squire 7-inches, which were released on labels like Rok or I-Spy. This may very well be the release that most accurately reflects the true identity and spirit of Squire!
This one comes with remastered sound and includes a postcard and a colour insert with photos and detailed liner notes written by Anthony Meynell himself.
Limited to 500 copies.
