Description
The Unclaimed’s Never Say Goodbye channels decades of Los Angeles garage punk into a high-energy LP on Outro Records. Formed in 1979, the band helped shape the garage revival and the musical landscape surrounding the Paisley Underground.
Their first album since the passing of frontman Shelly Ganz draws on previously unreleased material stretching from the early years to songs the group was developing before his death. Rather than simply looking back, Never Say Goodbye keeps the emphasis on the raw drive and attitude at the heart of The Unclaimed.
For longtime followers, it offers another chapter in the band’s story. For collectors exploring L.A.’s garage underground, it connects that history with music still itching to make its presence felt. A spirited addition to any garage punk collection, honouring Ganz by keeping the energy alive.
