Description
The band was founded in 1965 by the charismatic singer and bassist Sky Saxon, and is still considered one of the most influential mid-60s garage bands ever.bAlbum No. 2, was originally released in 1966 - right around the time their classic 'Pushin Too Hard' from their debut album was hitting the US charts. In the slipstream of the Doors or Love, an album was created in the summer of that year that was a musical development, and not just because of the 14-minute showstopper 'Up In Her Room'.
The album, which is popular with fans and is priceless as an original, is now being released in a spectacular 2LP gatefold new edition with 11 bonus tracks: mono versions, outtakes, etc.
Comes in deluxe gatefold sleeve. An extensive 8-page booklet contains insightful liner notes based on interviews with those still living and many archive photos!
