Description
The Redskins debut album "Neither Washington Nor Moscow" recently turned 35 years old and is now being re-released for the first time as a deluxe reissue remastered on London Records.
With their signature blend of punk and Nordic soul, lead singer and guitarist Chris Dean once cited his band's ambition to "sing like The Supremes with the attitude of The Clash."
Beloved by John Peel and Billy Bragg, the album includes the singles "Lean On Me," "Bring It On Down" and "Kick Over The Statues." As well-known members of the Social Workers Party, the band's politics remain relevant today as they were then.
Re-mastered - on heavyweight vinyl - gatefold sleeve - printed inner sleeves with words of PAUL MORLEY
