The young Brit has gained respectable recognition not only in his home country but also in Germany. He is considered a leading figure in a young and urban rhythm'n'blues scene, and Rolling Stone couldn't resist calling him "the British answer to Nick Waterhouse".
PM Warson, however, broadens his horizons on "A Little More Time" rather than sticking to the familiar. His vision of the middle of the last century is much more than just a rhythm'n'blues revival. The ten original compositions grew in the London analog studio Lightship 95, capture the direct charm of a live performance and are yet characterized by subtle songwriting and improved arrangements. Although the instrumentation with piano, organ, steel guitar, saxophones and trumpet goes beyond the band's core line-up, all of the songs seem very focused and tidy. Wonderful 60's vintage pop with a lot of soul and rhythm'n'blues appeal makes "A Little More Time" a small masterpiece.
