Description
The lost album by the early 60s combo from Ohio delivers a unique mix of post-Elvis, pre-British invasion and unadulterated rock'n'roll!
The American label Wick Records/Daptone Records is releasing Johnny's Uncalled Four 'The Lost Album', a very rare and sought-after rock'n'roll album from the early 60s. John(ny) Golden has also been one of the most sought-after mastering engineers since the late 60s and has worked with artists such as The Fifth Dimension, Bill Withers, Earth Wind & Fire, Iggy Pop, Sonny Rollins and Brian Eno. In 1982, while working as a sound engineer at K-Disc in Hollywood, John was commissioned to master the TV Party single by punk luminaries Black Flag, which led to work for Sub Pop, K Records, Touch & Go and the entire SST catalog until 1991. Daptone/Wick Records are also among Johnny Golden's loyal customers and released a 7inch of Johnny's Uncalled Four in 2020 and are now culminating in the release of this long-lost album.
