Native New Yorker Otis Blackwell found fame as a recording artist on RCA, Jay-Dee and Groove in the early 1950s before writing "Fever" for Little Willie John along with "Don't Be Cruel" and "All Shook Up" for Elvis. Here Elvis revives "Fever" as well as some less obvious Blackwell songs from his extensive catalogue.
