Now, curated personally by Weller for Ace Records (XXQLP2143), "That Sweet Sweet Music" gathers 26 of his favourite soul records: classics like James Carr's "Pouring Water On A Drowning Man" (1966) and Gil Scott-Heron's "In The Bottle" (Brother to Brother, 1975), rare gems like Blackrock's "Yeah, Yeah" and Syl Johnson's "Black Balloons", and surprises like the Isley Brothers, Headhunters, and Betty Davis.
