Description
Jerry Byrne's song “Lights Out” is the definitive wild rock & roll song of the 1950s. It certainly didn't hurt that Mac Rebennack, better known as Dr. John, was involved in the studio or as a composer on this and other of his songs.
Little Richard helped him get into his record company and the result was the finest New Orleans rock & roll songs. “Lights Out” hit the charts and extensive touring followed. Further solo records and duet recordings under various names followed. Here they are all collected together for the first time!
