Description

Beautifully designed 10" LP in a gatefold cover with a 12-page, richly illustrated 4c booklet.

14 Eddie Cochran songs, to mark the 50th anniversary of Rockstar Records, produced by Richard Weize (...And More Bears).
Fourteen Eddie Cochran classics, some in rare takes or stereo versions, with classics such as "Jeannie, Jeannie, Jeannie", "Pretty Girl", "Don't Ever Let Me Go" and "Sweetie Pie" can be found on "Dear Eddie", the title of which already suggests the close relationship with his fans and followers for which the Minnesota-born rock'n'roll star was known. After the competent liner notes by co-producer and Cochran expert Antoon van Olderen, the accompanying booklet contains numerous images of personal letters and photos to Eddie Cochran, which Van Olderen documented in his extensive Eddie Cochran fan club archive.

A touching tribute to the rockabilly and rock'n'roll hero who died young, in opulent packaging!
Limited to 500 copies, deluxe edition, gatefold with booklet
