Demos & Rarities
Compiling the demos and rare tracks of the Headless Horsemen. One of the best NY bands of the 80's, they brought back in the garage scene their fascination and love for the Who/Easybeats '66 sound. Founded by Elan Portnoy (Fuzztones), Peter Stuart and Ira Elliot (Soon after in Nada Surf and replaced by Dave "Ari" Turetski), quickly joined by Chris Cush, the band issued a fantastic LP in 87 "Can't Help But Shake". Great pop hooks with garage/rock'n'roll attitude. You will find on this album 9 un-issued demos with a fantastic sound, along with 3 tracks of the "Gotta Be Cool" 12' and the two tracks of the rare promo 7'.
Comes with illustrated inner sleeve with liner notes from Jeff Cuyubamba (Shake Some Action blog)
